Contact form vs Calendly: which should you use?
Book Calendly when you can talk now. Use the form when you need to write context first. Same careful process.
BoundaryProof gives you two doors into the same process: the site contact form and a Calendly slot for the free intro. Neither is a trap. Choose based on whether you want to book immediately or send context first.
Use Calendly when you already know you want to talk
If you are ready for a 30-minute conversation and your diary is the blocker, book the slot. Come with a short brief: what you run, what you want reviewed, domains or systems, and any deadline. We will map that to Web, External Infrastructure, OSINT or Firewall — or tell you if we are not the right help.
Use the form when you need to write it out first
Some buyers think better in writing. The form is ideal when multiple stakeholders must agree on wording, when you want a paper trail, or when you are not sure which service fits. Prefer email? hello@boundaryproof.co.uk works the same way. Clear messages get clear replies.
What to include either way
Business context, target systems you are authorised to discuss, the worry in plain English, and timing. Mention if production is sensitive or if client environments are involved. Do not submit third-party targets without permission — we will refuse those anyway.
What happens next
Intro call if needed, then scope and prerequisites before any assessment, then work and debrief. Same process regardless of whether you arrived via form or calendar link. Founder-led means you are not bounced between SDRs and delivery strangers.
There is no CE+ upsell waiting behind either button. Services stay focused. Authorised scope only. Pick the door that gets you to a clear conversation fastest — Calendly for speed, form or email when context should land first.
Response expectations
Calendly is immediate scheduling. Form and email depend on message clarity and timing, but you should still expect a human reply orienting you to next steps — usually the intro call or a straight answer if the request is out of scope. If your message includes unauthorised third-party targets, expect a refusal and a redirect toward assets you control.
Neither channel is monitored as an emergency incident hotline. If you are mid-incident, say so plainly; we will tell you quickly whether focused assessment help is appropriate or whether you need a different kind of response path.
In short: book when you can talk; write when you need to gather. Both are legitimate ways into the same careful process.
Using both without chaos
Some buyers submit the form and also book Calendly. That is fine — mention it so we do not double-track. A short note like “booked Thursday, form has context” helps. What creates chaos is sending different scopes through different channels with no owner named.
If your security or legal team must review outbound messages, use the form or email first, then book once wording is approved. If you are the founder and you can decide live, Calendly is usually faster.
Either way, keep the content disciplined: authorised assets, clear worry, timing, and which of the four services you think you need. That discipline speeds every downstream step.
